EGP Market is a production Android app I built with React Native and Expo to track live gold, foreign currency, and crypto prices against the Egyptian pound. The gold tab converts spot USD/oz into jewelry-style buy/sell estimates per gram across 24K, 22K, 21K, 18K, and 14K. Currencies and crypto lists show EGP per unit, with pull-to-refresh and local caching so rates feel instant on repeat visits.

A dedicated converter handles FX math in both directions. Gold price alerts use Expo notifications and a background task so users can watch a karat without keeping the app open. The UI is bilingual (English and Arabic with RTL), supports light and dark themes, and is monetized with Google AdMob banners, interstitials, and app-open ads.

This project is a clear example of shipping a full mobile product: live market APIs, offline-friendly cache, localization, and store-ready ads — not just a UI prototype.
