About this project

MAF is a flights and lounges booking marketing experience I built as a fully responsive website with clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The brief centered on helping travelers explore flight-related offerings and lounge options through a polished, trustworthy interface.

I structured the site around clear browsing paths: highlight destinations and offerings, surface social proof through a comments or testimonials slider, and provide a registration path for users ready to continue. Vanilla JavaScript powers slider behavior for the comments section without pulling in a heavy framework, which keeps the site lean and easy to host.

Responsive design was non-negotiable. Travel research happens on phones in airports as often as on desktops at home. I used fluid layouts, carefully sized media, and consistent spacing so the booking narrative remains readable across breakpoints. Visual hierarchy emphasizes primary actions so visitors are never lost between browsing and signing up.

Even on a relatively compact marketing build, I applied production habits: semantic markup, maintainable CSS organization, and progressive enhancement for interactive pieces. The result is a clean booking-oriented website foundation that communicates travel services with clarity.

MAF shows my ability to deliver booking-adjacent marketing UIs with fundamentals — HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — when the right choice is speed and simplicity over a large SPA.

Travel marketing pages succeed when they reduce anxiety. I prioritized readable service explanations, approachable registration entry points, and a comments slider that adds social proof without cluttering primary navigation. Clean code and responsive behavior keep the experience stable across devices travelers actually use.

MAF is intentionally fundamentals-driven. When a project does not need React, choosing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a product decision as much as a technical one — and it often ships faster with fewer moving parts.
